10 Aug Israeli journalists visited Carinthia
On 31.07.2018 a group of about 10 persons of leading journalists, photographers, video editors and bloggers from Israel arrived on Klagenfurt airport and were welcomed with champagne by the CEO of the airport Klagenfurt Michael Kunz and Alena van Dijk.
The group spent 5 days in the Carinthia and visited Klagenfurt & Wörthersee, visiting the historical city of Klagenfurt, panorama tower (Pyramidenkogel) at the lake Wörthersee and other sights. The trip was continued to the region Hohe Tauern / Flattach incl. Mölltaller glacier, where the group did rafting in the morning and used the skilift train to get on top of the 3.000 m glacier. One of the journalists used the rare opportunity to do some afternoon skiing in July.
The next day was spend by hiking at the ski and hiking resort Goldeck and afterwards the lake Millsättersee was explored in a motor-boot which belongs to the hotel group Royal X. The visiting group finished the trip in the region Bad Kleinkirchheim, which presented two new thermal and spa & wellness public pools, as well as the world cup ski resort with about 100km of slopes, and a new training field for mountain biking in Feld am See.
